ABOUT DR. TOSCOVA
I completed my PhD degree in Psychology at The University of New Mexico in 1990, with a yearlong internship at the UNM Student Mental Health Center and been in private practice for over 25 years.

My current focus is to provide state of the art outpatient therapy utilizing evidence based Cognitive Behavioral strategies within my Private Practice, including:
Child, Adolescent, Adult, Couples, and Family; Children of Divorce, Divorce Issues, Reintegration Therapy; Autistic Spectrum Disorders/Aspergers,
Trauma Spectrum Disorders/PTSD; Substance Abuse Issues; Health Issues; Consultations and Training.
Here is a highlight of my previous clinical/employment experience and interests:

Clinical Director at YDDC providing and supervising the delivery of mental health and substance abuse services to adjudicated youth.

Clinical Director of UNM's ATP - Alcohol Treatment Center (formerly known as CASAA); designed programs and supervised the delivery of a wide range of therapeutic services.

Provided direct services to Adolescents and Adults with a wide range of mental health and substance abuse problems.
Provided direct clinical services and supervised services to children affected by parental mental health and substance abuse problems.
Specialized women's program / day treatment programs (adolescent, adult, and women).
Directed Clinical services at Albuquerque's Family and Child Guidance Center
APS Psychologist /consultant, provided School Based mental health services to students and parents; staff consultations; mental health team, evaluations; crisis team/management; student group and individual therapy. Emphasis was on students with Autistic Spectrum Disorders/Aspergers including, social skills training, group, parent/staff education and training.
